FREEDOM SALUTE
Established in 2007, The Freedom Salute honors those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our Nation's freedom.
The Freedom Salute begins at 5:15 p.m. with a shot fire from a Civil War Era cannon and continues with one shot fired every 15 minutes thereafter until 10:15 p.m.
After each shots fired, the name of the individual being honored is announced. The sound of our Fallen Heroes' names echoing across the waters of St. Clair Lake is a moving reminder to all that our Freedom is not free.
The Freedom Salute includes with our National Anthem, followed by a spectacular fireworks display.
